what about my kids?
After the worship portion of the service concludes, all children are welcome to join the Gateway Kids programs we run every Sunday. Whether your child is a toddler or a high school student, there is a ministry designed for every child. They will be part of a fun, safe, clean, interactive and educational space where our team of trained volunteers (DCSI and CPS accredited) create an environment your child will want to come back to every week.
what is the service like?
You will be ushered into the church at 10:00am. You will not be singled out or made to feel uncomfortable in any way. Each service runs for approximately 90 minutes. The first 40 - 50 minutes will involve a combination of worship music, church announcements and the opportunity to partake in giving a freewill offering and communion (on applicable weeks). The words to all of the songs will be up on our screens so you can sing as much as you feel comfortable.
We will then jump into the message/sermon which will run for approximately 40 minutes and will take Biblical principles and demonstrate how to apply these to your life in a relevant and real way. Message dot-points and bible verses will be up on screen if you would like to take notes. The sermons are also recorded and uploaded to YouTube on that same Sunday for later viewing.
We will close with a short prayer from the speaker and a time of response, where you can come forward for prayer if the message connected with you. One final song will be played and then the service will conclude, giving you an opportunity for further connection and a coffee or nibble from the cafe.
what happens when i arrive?
Once you park your car and approach the entrance, you will be greeted by our welcoming team. They will be there to give you a Pulse, or any other important communications, as well as answer any of your questions. If you are new, someone from our hosting team will partner with you to help connect you to others in the church and give you a free welcome pack. While you wait for the service to start, you can connect with others, grab a free coffee from our cafe with the coupon in your welcome bag, and even fill out a connect card.
what do i wear?
Whatever you want! You can come in jeans or a tux. As long as you are dressed modesty, we welcome all exactly as they are.
